Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time of year! You can include many activities, crafts, and lessons into your homeschool day about this special holiday. History, reading, writing, and art are just a few of the subjects that come to mind when I consider the areas Thanksgiving lessons can cover.

There is time to plan and prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving in your homeschool. One suggestion is to go to your local library and find resources to use in teaching about this holiday. Books, movies, and audiobooks are available about the first Thanksgiving and related topics.
